Las Vegas Raiders’ defensive tackle, Solomon Thomas, lost his big sister Ella to suicide in 2018. Solomon has dedicated his life to sharing Ella’s story – he has worked with a myriad of nonprofit organizations to raise awareness for mental health / suicide prevention and has been the keynote speaker / a panel member at major mental health events. He also launched his own nonprofit organization, The Defensive Line, to train, educate and equip leaders of young people of color to be the mental health community that empowers a lifesaving connection.
